In his presentation, Mark Hannan talks about his multi-enterprise operation and how he manages all of his enterprises and his cattle and land in order to make it all profitable. With a background in accounting, Mark does the one thing that most of us rancher types don't do well, he crunches the numbers and knows what is profitable and what is not. You will learn a lot from this presentation.
Mark Hannan graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Mark and his wife Laurie live in East Texas where they own and operate several companies. They started with Twin Lakes Dairy in 1992. The dairy farm is currently home to over 2,000 Jersey milk cows.
Van Zandt Supply, a custom silage and hay harvesting operation, was formed in 1997 with the dairy as its main customer, and expanded as neighbors needed help meeting their harvesting needs.
Happy Cattle Company was established in 2004 as Mark wanted to develop heritage strains of Angus and Hereford cattle. The company sells breeding stock, semen and weaned calves.
In 2015, Mark formed Happy Cattle Beef to help meet the growing demands for healthy, local beef.
As you can tell, Mark knows a thing or two about stacking enterprises and he will share his experiences with us at the Restore the Land conference.
